Lisa Helmi Johanson is a singer, actor, musician, writer...and now producer. Jennifer Barnhart (She/Her) - Veronica
Jennifer Barnhart is an actor, singer, and voiceover artist who is principally known for her work as a puppeteer. She is a Muppeteer on Sesame Street, where she plays Zoe, among others. One of the Original Broadway Company members of Avenue Q, she remained with the show for its entire six-year Broadway run. She also does work as a “human”, where some favorite roles include Lady Macbeth, Goneril, Mrs. Cratchitt, and she had a few co-starring spots on Law & Order: SVU. Her voiceover credits include the YA audiobook “The Adventures of a Girl Called Bicycle” for Penguin/Random House. |

Amanda Carlson (She/Her) - Justine (Episode 6)
Amanda is an actor, director and performance coach based in Minneapolis. Most recently she directed an acclaimed staging of Benjamin Britten's opera, The Rape of Lucretia, and is currently in development for the Midwest premier of Missy Mazzoli's Proving Up. She is the co-host and co-producer of Opera Plot Happy Hour (podcast). The rest of the time, which is most of it, she is Mommy to Juniper Joan (featured in episode 3) and Cedar Eleanor (proof that IUDs really only prevent 99.9% of pregnancies), and spouse to Justin, who can do anything.

Mark Faylent (He/Him) - Writer, Co-Director
Mark Faylent is an educator of 16 years, including 10 years in early childhood education, where he accrued enough stories to fill a podcast series. After earning his Master’s in education as well a teaching license, he has been an elementary school teacher for the past three years. And now that he has summers off, he started writing an actual podcast series.
Jake Leibold (He/Him) - Sound Editor, Production Manager, Producer
Jake Leibold is a middle school math teacher by day, organizer and editor by night. After spending over two decades in the Minneapolis area, he moved to NYC to become a secondary math teacher. With almost a decade of experience teaching kids that are at least 12 years old, he's forever grateful he hasn't had to work in a preschool - those teachers are champions!
Z Infante (They/Them) - Consultant
Zach Infante is an actor, writer, and producer based in New Jersey. They largely produce new theater in venues across New York including Joe's Pub, Kickstarter Headquarters, Playwright's Horizons Downtown, and HERE Arts Center. They were a 2019 Creative Producing Fellow with Musical Theatre Factory, and are currently a 2020 Sokoloff Arts Fellow with Town Stages. Adam Sharp (He/Him) - Script Editor
Adam Sharp is an award-winning writer who received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He co-founded Box Wine Theatre, serving as Associate Artistic Director and Resident Playwright from 2008-2019, and has been commissioned by multiple institutions around the US as a playwright. Some of his most recent accomplishments include working as a Lead Script Writer and Producer for the Berlin-based storytelling app Galatea by Inkitt, receiving the Alfred P. Sloan Prize for his screenplay, “The Sea Dragon,” and having his short story, “Dorian Filter,” published on the reading app, Hooked.
Bethany Sharp (She/Her) - Script Editor
Bethany Sharp is a producer, director, writer, editor, and script consultant, currently residing in Berlin, Germany. She holds an MFA from Columbia University in Theatre Management & Producing and has worked professionally in the entertainment industry for 14 years. Bethany has had the privilege of working with and learning from a multitude of incredible Minneapolis, NYC, and Berlin-based professionals, non-profits, digital media companies, production companies, festivals, and theaters, including as Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Box Wine Theatre. Outside of creative storytelling and entertainment, Bethany is currently working to develop content for an up-and-coming educational social equality app.
Lars-Erik Larson (He/Him) - Music
Lars-Erik Larson is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based out of St. Paul, MN. After earning a Masters degree in music from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2012, he became a part of the twin cities music scene where he has performed and collaborated with a wide range of artists. During his time at home when not performing or touring, Larson rebuilds grand pianos in a small wood shop just outside St. Paul where he is constantly pursuing good craftsmanship, artistic and otherwise.
Elyse Porter (She/Her) - Assistant (to the) Writer
Elyse Porter is a preschool teacher in Minneapolis. Hers is a classic story of taking a job in early childhood education as a short break from grad school, which turned into a decade-long career. She uses her background in psychology to bring logic and order to the whirlwind that is preschool life. While not always successful in this endeavor, at least hugs and snacks are a daily guarantee.
